Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that New Jersey will receive over $591 million to combat the transmission of COVID-19. The state will receive $511,244,494 for COVID-19 testing and contact tracing and $80,258,162 for vaccination activities. The funding will be distributed as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act Congress passed in December.

These recoupment efforts known as "clawbacks" have blindsided homeowners because many New Jersey residents applied for loans and benefits offered by various federal programs based on the federal government's recommendation.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that New Jersey will receive over $5 million from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve the state's vaccine preparedness and COVID-19 testing capacity. The state will receive $4,096,616 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act for vaccine preparation and $1,806,500 through the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act for COVID-19 response activities.
Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that health care providers in New Jersey will receive $217,936,843 through the Provider Relief Fund established in the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act. Funding allocations are based on data each provider submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services that details financial losses and changes in operating expenses caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced the completion of beach replenishment projects in Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, and Long Branch. A total of 2.8 million cubic yards of sand was placed on beaches along the three towns. Pallone announced the beginning of these projects in September. The work began on October 1 and was completed on November 26.
