PERTH AMBOY, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) joined Perth Amboy Mayor Helmin Caba, state lawmakers, and local advocates today to unveil a new automated external defibrillator (AED) and temperature-controlled SaveStation at the Veterans Memorial Youth Complex, giving young athletes access to lifesaving equipment in the event of a cardiac emergency.
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) are calling for stronger protections for Atlantic menhaden, a small fish that plays an enormous role in New Jersey’s coastal ecosystem. Commonly known as bunker, menhaden are a vital food source for avian and marine wildlife. The lawmakers are urging the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) to significantly reduce fishing limits to ensure enough menhaden remain in the water to sustain the species that depend on them.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) wrote to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) today urging the Commission to use its authority to approve and strengthen recent proposals put forth by PJM surrounding its handling of data centers.
