WASHINGTON, D.C. – New Jersey Democratic leaders today thanked Governor Mikie Sherrill for her efforts to protect public safety and the rights of peaceful protestors after several days of clashes outside the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility, where ICE agents have repeatedly engaged with protesters, elected officials, and members of the public.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ-06), the Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Congresswoman Nellie Pou (D-NJ-09), the Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Task Force overseeing World Cup security, today commended the investigation into FIFA World Cup ticket sales announced by the Attorneys General of New Jersey and New York.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that New Jersey will receive $258,000 in federal funding from the Environmental Protection Agency to monitor water quality at beaches across the state, helping protect swimmers and notify the public when contamination makes swimming unsafe.
The funding comes just ahead of Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of the summer tourism season at the Jersey Shore.
