Stops to Include Plainfield, New Brunswick, Long Branch

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Frank Pallone (NJ-06) Thursday will kick off a Census Day tour of the Sixth Congressional District at the Neighborhood Health Center in Plainfield, NJ. In an effort to encourage New Jerseyans to fill out their Census forms, Pallone will speak with constituents about the importance of the Census at locations in Plainfield, New Brunswick, and Long Branch.

Washington, D.C. – Lawmakers approved the Small Business and Infrastructure Jobs Act on Wednesday, a bill that will create thousands of jobs in New Jersey and build on the progress of the bipartisan HIRE Act which was just signed into law by the president.

The legislation will spur job creation by providing tax incentives for businesses to hire out of work Americans, and by funding infrastructure projects.

Health Subcommittee Acts On Plan To Aid WTC Responders & Survivors

Washington, D.C. - The House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee on Tuesday approved The James Zadroga 9-11 Health and Compensation Act, giving approval to legislation that would provide medical care to emergency responders and others exposed to toxic materials around the World Trade Center after the terrorist attack.
