The president's emergency declaration and effort to steal billions of dollars in civil works programs, flood prevention and reconstruction projects, and military construction funds could impact more than $50 million specifically intended for New Jersey facilities at Picatinny Arsenal and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06), Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, announced that the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center will receive a grant of $1,583,709. The funding will be used to help the Center provide comprehensive primary and preventive health services to medically underserved populations.

Pallone and House Democrats have voted to reopen the government numerous times, but the government remains closed over Trump's insistence on a wasteful and unnecessary border wall.
