Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced Wednesday that the Asbury Park Fire Department in Asbury Park, NJ received $209,475 in funding provided through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The money will be spent to improve emergency response capabilities by training firefighters and first responders, and purchasing updated protective equipment.
