LoBiondo (NJ-02) led a bipartisan group of 66 members of the House of Representatives in sending a letter to Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, opposing any effort to allow oil and gas leasing in the Atlantic Ocean and Eastern Gulf of Mexico. This letter was sent in response to a July 3rd Request for Information on the preparation of a new five-year National Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Oil and Gas Leasing Program for 2019-2022.
Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced today that the South Plainfield Fire Department has been awarded a $192,473 in federal grants from the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) program. The grant will enhance South Plainfield’s ability to protect the health and safety of the public, as well as its first-responders, by updating its respiratory equipment. The equipment includes air packs, breathing apparatus, and face protectors.

Donald Zarda, a skydiver, filed a lawsuit in September 2010 against his former employer, Altitude Express, Inc, alleging that the company violated the Civil Rights Act by discriminating against him because of his sexual orientation.
