Long Branch, NJ—After thorough analysis of the provisions of the Sandy relief package passed by Congress in January, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today noted several initial large-scale projects he expects to be completed to restore damage to the Jersey Shore caused by Superstorm Sandy. Based on his interpretation of the Sandy aid bill, Pallone pointed to these projects in Monmouth County that he expects the Army Corps of Engineers to move forward with as part of the relief plan.

New Brunswick, NJ—On Monday, February 25, 2013 at 12:30 p.m., Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) will visit Manavi in New Brunswick, NJ, an organization providing critical service to primarily South Asian women who are victims of violence. Today, Congressman Frank Pallone Jr., (NJ-06) announced $524,313 in new federal funding to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
“RWJMS serves more than one million people each year with high quality patient care, and this grant recognizes the important service it does for our community,” said Pallone. “This funding will help RWJMS to continue to reach our most vulnerable residents and help them to get the medical care they need.”
Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced $1,007,693 in federal funding to Middlesex County for medical care and support to low income individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS through the Ryan White Program.
LONG BRANCH, NJ—Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced $2,407,105 in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the Bayshore Regional Sewarage Authority. The support will go toward repairing damage to the sewer system sustained during Superstorm Sandy.
“The destruction caused by Sandy damaged critical components of our infrastructure,” said Pallone. “This funding will help make critical repairs to the Bayshore’s sewer system, which must be addressed to get the community up and running again.”
WASHINGTON DC – As oral arguments begin in federal court regarding New Jersey’s efforts to legally accept wagers on sporting events, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Congressman Frank LoBiondo (NJ-02) announced today that they have again introduced legislation to expand sports gaming to their state. Through different mechanisms, each bill would be effective in bringing sports gaming, and its associated revenue potentially amounting to billions, to the state.
