PALLONE ANNOUNCES MORE THAN $524K TO ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON MEDICAL SCHOOL

February 22, 2013

Today, Congressman Frank Pallone Jr., (NJ-06) announced $524,313 in new federal funding to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

“RWJMS serves more than one million people each year with high quality patient care, and this grant recognizes the important service it does for our community,” said Pallone. “This funding will help RWJMS to continue to reach our most vulnerable residents and help them to get the medical care they need.”

This funding is awarded through the Health Cluster Grants Program and is administered through the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. This grant program was created as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It is awarded through a competitive process for health centers that play an important role in ensuring access to medical services to the underserved.
