Washington, D.C. -- U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ), Chair of the Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Health, today was joined by other Energy & Commerce Chairs and Ranking Members in sending a letter to Andrew von Eschenbach, Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), asking for specific information about the FDA's investigation into the recent contamination of numerous brands of pet food. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, today applauded former Vice President Al Gore for calling on Congress to address the critical problem of global warming. Gore appeared before a joint hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality and the House Science and Technology Committee's Subcommittee on Energy and Environment.

Washington, D.C. --- U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) introduced a bill, known as the 'Spousal Reunification Act', today in the U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation would allow non-immigrant visitors, who are married to or children of permanent resident aliens residing and working in this country, to visit the United States. Permanent resident aliens are individuals who have come into this country legally and are gainfully employed.
