Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), Co-Chairman of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, commended Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for visiting the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex in Armenia this weekend in honor of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian Genocide. In light of the Secretary of State’s visit to the site, Pallone renewed the call for the United States government to officially recognize the systematic killing of 1.5 million Armenians between 1915 and 1923 as genocide.
