Senate Fails to Move on 9/11 Legislation
December 9, 2010
Congressman Pallone (NJ-06) released the following statement: “I’m very disappointed the Senate failed to give this important bill a final vote. This vote means hundreds of first-responders and their families face uncertainty on the treatment they will receive for the illnesses they currently have and may develop in the future. We owe it to them to eliminate this uncertainty in their lives and give them the care they deserve. I will continue to work with my colleagues from New York to find a way to move this bill forward.”
