The measure would provide a cash benefit to help obtain services and supports, while providing those with disabilities more choices and opportunities to live and participate in their communities.

Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ) introduced legislation today that places a permanent ban on drilling off the Jersey Shore and all North and Mid-Atlantic states from Maine to North Carolina. The legislation is introduced on the 20th anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill, which damaged 1,300 miles of shoreline with 11 million gallons of crude oil.

Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced today the release of federal capital improvement grants for housing authorities in New Jersey, including New Brunswick, South Amboy, Edison and Highland Park, that will put people to work improving housing facilities in local communities. Washington, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced today that the Edison Rail Station Park and Ride will receive $11 million to expand the station's parking lot by 500 spaces. The funding is provided through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act, which provided New Jersey Transit with $342 million for transit projects in northern and central New Jersey.
