Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced that the U.S. House of Representatives approved a Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Transportation and Housing & Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations bill today that includes his request of $500,000 for the South Amboy Intermodal Transportation Station to improve access, increase safety and enhance passenger accommodations at the facility.

WASHINGTON – Representatives Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Tim Murphy (R-PA) have introduced legislation that confronts public health threats by investing in the public health veterinary workforce. The Veterinary Public Health Education and Workforce Act (H.R. 2999)creates new programs for training veterinarians and offers additional federal support for them to protect public health.

Washington, D.C. U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr., an original co-sponsor of the landmark tobacco control legislation signed into law on Monday by President Barack Obama at a White House ceremony, said the new regulatory authority over the production and marketing of tobacco products will save lives, reduce smoking-related illnesses and protect young people from an addiction that takes a tighter grip the longer they smoke.

Frank Pallone Jr., sent the following letter to the National Park Service on Friday requesting a detailed update on the status of the lease agreement between Sandy Hook Partners (SHP) and Fort Hancock at the Gateway National Recreation Area's Sandy Hook Unit. The letter asks several questions regarding adequate proof of funds and the possible termination of the lease.
