Dear Neighbors,
Far too many times, we have seen the shocking images of gun violence and unspeakable tragedies in communities across the country. Elementary schools, high schools, movie theaters, universities, shopping malls and places of worship have all been scenes of horrific incidents where innocent lives were lost along with our sense of security. We were tragically reminded of this with the deadliest shooting spree in U.S history taking place in Las Vegas.
Dear neighbors,
In recent weeks we have seen our fellow Americans face severe, record breaking storms causing billions of dollars in damage, destroying homes and tragically, taking lives. Dear neighbors,
Recently I held an in-person town hall in Highland Park, NJ. Hundreds of New Jersey residents took the time to discuss the events going on in Washington, suggest what we can do to improve our communities, and ask me questions on issues ranging from health care to education.
Dear Neighbors,
This month we celebrate women’s history and the extraordinary contributions women have made to our nation. It is also a time to reaffirm our commitment to advancing women’s rights.
