Washington, D.C. --- U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and U.S. Sens. Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ) today asked the Inspector General of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to investigate the history of the inadequate cleanup of the Ringwood Mines/Landfill Superfund site in Ringwood, New Jersey.

U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement today in opposition to legislation in the House that would make all food labeling requirements uniform across the nation. Under the legislation, states like New Jersey would see their own tougher requirements weakened under the federal legislation. Today, the House debated the legislation, but an actual vote is not expected until next week.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) today to introduce legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives that will prevent foreign owned companies from operating American ports. The same legislation was introduced earlier this week in the U.S. Senate by U.S. Sens. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY).

Long Branch, NJ --- With the U.S. Department of Interior scheduled to propose federal regulations governing renewable energy exploration--which could include windmills-- on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), U.S. Rep.
