Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ) Thursday questioned representatives from the recreational and commercial fishing communities regarding the implications of the administration’s stringent catch shares program and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration implementation of the program. Pallone expressed serious concern about catch shares and took issue with existing problems in them at the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Insular Affairs, Oceans and Wildlife hearing on catch shares.

Washington, DC – The House on Wednesday voted in favor of landmark legislation to enhance and improve health services for wounded veterans and their families. The bipartisan Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act addresses the many hardships and sacrifices associated with lengthy recovery from severe injuries of veterans.
Currently, the wall is in a state of severe disrepair. As a result of the deterioration flooding has caused sinkholes and obstructed traffic on adjacent roadways. Portions of the lakefront are closed off because the retaining wall is unstable.
