Health Subcommittee Hearing Will Examine Antibiotic Resistance in Agricultural Animals

Government officials and veterinary health experts will provide testimony about the purposes of antibiotic use in animals as well as the implications of antibiotics losing their effectiveness in both animals and humans as a result of use.
This is the third in a series of three hearings on the topic of antibiotic resistance. The hearing will begin at 2 p.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
