Bill Ensures CHIP Coverage for Millions of Children through 2019

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) located in New Jersey’s 6^th District will receive a total of over $5.23 million to make improvements to public housing developments. The funding, which is awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Capital Fund Program, provides assistance to PHAs to modernize public housing developments and to make management improvements.
