WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services will receive $11,494,745 to support home visiting services to pregnant women and parents with young children. These funds are part of a broader effort to support the healthy development and well-being of children living in areas with high rates of low birth weight, teen pregnancy, infant mortality and poverty.

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) located in New Jersey’s 6th District will receive a total of over $5.23 million to make improvements to public housing developments. The funding, which is awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Capital Fund Program, provides assistance to PHAs to modernize public housing developments and to make management improvements.
