Pallone is a member of the Conference Committee, which is made up of a bipartisan, bicameral set of Members negotiating between the House-passed and Senate-passed versions of the legislation.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Lake Takanassee, Deal Lake and Wesley Lake will be included in a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers study to address flood risks of vulnerable coastal populations in areas that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. All coastal lakes in Monmouth County will be included in the study.

WASHINGTON, DC – Following the three-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-6), Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, today introduced legislation to help ensure the resiliency of the nation’s communications networks during emergencies. The legislation is entitled Securing Access to Networks in Disasters Act – or the SANDy Act. During and after Sandy there was a major breakdown of telecommunications networks, including cellular and home telephones, television, and internet services.
ISELIN, NJ – Today at the Metropark Station, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) called on Congress to remove a provision from the House transportation bill that would cut $50 million annually from New Jersey Transit. The provision, attached to the House-passed surface transportation reauthorization, would eliminate the High Density States Program – known as the 5340 Program. The elimination would cut federal public transportation funding to several states by approximately $263 million per year, including the cut to NJ Transit.

Pallone has consistently fought against the proposed Liberty Natural Gas (LNG) Port Ambrose terminal, which poses a threat to New Jersey's ocean and coastline, crucial economic engines for the state.
