LONG BRANCH, NJCongressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) is mourning the loss of his father, Frank Pallone, Sr., who passed away on Sunday, February 7th at the age of 92. Mr. Pallone was a lifelong resident of Long Branch, New Jersey who first served his country in World War II as a tail gunner and served his community for years later as a detective police sergeant, a volunteer fireman, and a first aid squad member.

LONG BRANCH, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (N.J.-06), along with U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker, today announced a combined $2.5 million in federal funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to make repairs to the Leonardo State Marina damaged during Superstorm Sandy and support efforts by local leaders in the Two Rivers region to develop science and scenario-based regional resiliency plans to improve response to future storms and coastal hazards.
