WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ), Co-Chair of the Armenian Issues Caucus, along with 32 members of Congress, sent the following letter to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the Department of State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs Chairwoman Kay Granger and Ranking Member Nita Lowey. In preparing the Fiscal Year 2017 State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations bill, the lawmakers are requesting that the subcommittee support increased funding for U.S. assistance to Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.
