Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) today assailed a new Bush administration plan that would expand offshore drilling in the Atlantic Ocean and vowed to fight, as he has in the past, to prevent Congress from approving this ill-advised plan. The New Jersey congressman also joined 11 members of the New Jersey congressional delegation in sending a letter to President Bush urging that he direct U.S. Secretary of Interior Dirk Kempthorne to remove the portion of the plan relating to Virginia.

The State Departments 2006 Human Rights Report, in its sections dealing with Armenia and Azerbaijan, mischaracterized Armenia as an occupier of Azerbaijani territory.
