The bill would allow any business that is not a publicly traded for-profit entity to discriminate against same-sex couples and their families, undermining critical anti-discrimination provisions for LGBTQ Americans.

Recent estimates found that 1 in 4 New Jerseyans will suffer from a mental health issue in their lifetimes, and of these, only one-third will receive treatment.

The grant money will be spent on operations and safety programs, including personal protective equipment.
