Long Branch, NJ - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) sent a letter to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities voicing his concerns over Jersey Central Power and Light’s (JCP&L) proposal for the Monmouth County Reliability Project (MCRP). The plan for JCP&L’s new transmission line would impact Aberdeen, Hazlet and Middletown in Pallone’s district and run along New Jersey Transit’s North Jersey Coast line. Many residents have argued that the project is unnecessary and potentially harmful to the public health, environment, and economy of their communities.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell addressing discriminatory state policies against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community regarding fertility coverage. The letter focuses on Erin Krupa et al. v. Richard J Badolato, a case in which two same-sex couples filed suit against the New Jersey Insurance Commissioner, claiming that the New Jersey law mandating coverage for fertility treatments violates their civil rights.

New Brunswick, NJ -- Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced $75,663,600 million in federal funding from the Department of Health and Human Services to New Jersey and the 6th Congressional District for medical care and support to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS through the Ryan White Program. The program awarded $2.3 billion in grants nationwide.
