Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Rutgers University has been awarded six National Science Foundation (NSF) grants totaling more than $2,700,000.
"Rutgers University continues to show its dedication to pursing new scientific initiatives," Pallone said. "I am extremely proud of their accomplishments and I look forward to any new scientific research these funds will support."
The NSF grants include:
"Tripods+X:Res: Collaborative Research: Identification of Gene Regulatory Network Function from Data,"- $190,000.
Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Rutgers University has been awarded a new National Science Foundation grant of $856,337. The grant will support a project to help students learn to use different kinds of evidence in thinking about and creating models of complex systems. The project transforms the way simulations are used to help students develop scientific practices, epistemologies, and content knowledge within elementary school science classrooms.
