"The House today passed The Heroes Act that delivers vital funding to our state and local governments, provides another round of direct stimulus checks, and ensures that coronavirus treatment is free for all Americans," Pallone said. "During a public health crisis, it is irresponsible to even suggest that state and local governments consider bankruptcy as they continue to provide critical services and employ essential workers.
Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that New Jersey will receive more than $613 million to expand coronavirus testing in the state. The funding was established in the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act that Pallone helped craft in April and was signed into law. It included $25 billion House Democrats successfully fought for to increase testing.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced New Jersey's 6th Congressional District received over $177 million as part of the $1.7 billion in funding received by New Jersey health care providers from the Provider Relief Fund established in the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) today introduced the Security After Sandy Act that would forgive debt owed to the federal government by municipalities and homeowners recovering from Superstorm Sandy. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) will introduce a companion bill in the Senate.
Long Branch, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that 24 community health centers in New Jersey will receive over $11 million to expand coronavirus testing capacity. The funds will allow the community health centers to purchase personal protective equipment and tests, increase contact tracing, and expand walk-up or drive-thru testing.

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the competition will take place virtually this year. Students have until May 8 to submit information about their artwork along with a photo online. The competition is open to all high school students in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District.
