Washington, D.C. – As Americans face both the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting severe economic downturn, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today unveiled The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act, a legislative package that will provide much needed relief by making health care and prescription drugs more affordable.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today applauded the extension of federal support for coronavirus testing at New Jersey pharmacies through August. Pallone and his delegation colleagues sent a letter in May requesting the Trump Administration extend existing agreements with pharmacies in New Jersey for at least an additional three months.

The Moving Forward Act invests in roads, bridges and clean energy to put the United States on a path toward zero carbon emissions while creating safer communities and roads.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that safety net hospitals in New Jersey will receive over $280 million in relief funding to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement came one day after the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced it would allocate a total of $10 billion to safety net hospitals nationwide who serve a disproportionate number of Medicaid patients or provide large amounts of uncompensated care.

Washington, DC – One week after Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and other Congressional Committee leaders expressed concern about funding delays to Medicaid-dependent providers, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it will allocate $25 billion in the next round of coronavirus relief funding to safety net hospitals and providers who treat Medicaid patients.

Long Branch, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Middlesex and Monmouth Counties will receive over $3.4 million in funding to assist New Jerseyans who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance during the coronavirus pandemic. The funding was allocated through the CARES Act that Congress passed and was signed into law in March.
