WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) applauded House passage of legislation he authored to help protect coastal communities from sea level rise and stronger storms caused by climate change. The Living Shorelines Act would create a federal grant program through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to assist states, localities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in constructing living shorelines.

WASHINGTON — Here's one issue that has united a fractured Congress: Those pesky robocalls.

The U.S. House on Wednesday overwhelmingly passed legislation, 417-3, to crack down on those automated messages that have become the bane of consumers. Only two House Republicans and a Republican-turned-independent opposed the bill. All 12 House members from New Jersey voted yes.

Washington, DC – Today, the House of Representatives passed Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr.'s (NJ-06) bill, the Pallone-Thune TRACED Act, by an overwhelming vote of 417-3. The Pallone-Thune TRACED Act was announced as part of a bipartisan, bicameral agreement by the House and Senate last month, which reconciled the different anti-robocalls bills passed by the Senate in May and the House in June.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) joined a bicameral Congressional Delegation trip, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA-12), to Madrid, Spain for the 2019 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, known as COP25. At the conference, he said the U.S. is still playing a leadership role.

Cereal wasn't on the menu but it was on everyone's mind Friday afternoon when Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. was presented with a Wheaties box adorned with his smiling face.

The Science Coalition Champion of Science Award was given to him at a conference to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science (DIMACS) - a cooperative between Rutgers, Princeton and a handful of corporations.
