Long Branch, NJ -- Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced more than $11 million in federal funding that will provide aid to commercial fishing businesses, charter and for-hire fishing businesses, aquaculture operations, processors, and other fishery-related businesses in New Jersey.

Long Branch, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that over $2 million in funding from the CARES Act will be awarded to support public housing and operations in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District during the coronavirus pandemic. The funding was allocated through the CARES Act that Congress passed and was signed into law in March.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that New Jersey hospitals will receive over $1.7 billion from the Provider Relief Fund established in the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that he helped pass in the House of Representatives in March. Pallone helped include the Provider Relief Fund in the CARES Act and has been pushing for the money to go to hospitals with large numbers of COVID-19 cases.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced that the 6th Congressional District Annual High School Art Competition is officially underway. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the competition will take place virtually this year. Students have until May 8 to submit information about their artwork along with a photo online. The competition is open to all high school students in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) demanded that the Trump Administration fairly and quickly distribute financial aid to the fishing industries in states like New Jersey that have incurred greater economic losses as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The letter to Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought requested the agencies distribute the financial assistance based on state-specific economic impacts of the pandemic.
