Edison, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today toured Eos Energy Storage, a cutting-edge battery storage facility in Edison, with Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm. Founded in 2008, Eos designs and manufactures state of the art zinc batteries – manufactured in the U.S. and designed to provide new energy storage options in an effort to accelerate the shift to clean energy.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today honored the recipients of the Congressional Award, U.S. Service Academy nominees for class of 2024 and 2025 and the winners of the 2020 and 2021 Sixth Congressional District High School Art Competition during a virtual Congressional Awards Ceremony.

Pallone honored the recipients of the Congressional Award given in 2020 and 2021. Created by his predecessor, the late U.S. Rep. Jim Howard, the Congressional Award recognizes the initiative, achievement, and volunteer services of young people. The recipients include:

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) applauded House passage of the INVEST America Act, a $715 billion transportation bill that invests in surface and water infrastructure and will create jobs, revitalize the economy, improve public health, and increase the safety of automobiles. An additional $44 billion was added during the legislative process to make even greater investments in infrastructure, including EV charging and passenger rail grant programs, among other additions.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) announced legislation to help protect coastal communities from sea level rise and stronger storms caused by climate change. The Living Shorelines Act of 2021 would create two federal grant programs through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
