Washington, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced today that the Edison Rail Station Park and Ride will receive $11 million to expand the station's parking lot by 500 spaces. The funding is provided through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act, which provided New Jersey Transit with $342 million for transit projects in northern and central New Jersey.

Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced today that he is working to secure federal funding for the five shovel-ready shore protection and dredging projects along the Jersey Shore. The Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was signed into law by President Obama on February 17th to help save or create 3.5 million jobs, includes $4.5 billion for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to fund shovel-ready projects.
