Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today applauded $157 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support upgrades to New Jersey’s water infrastructure, including $54,366,000 for New Jersey’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and $102,647,000 for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The state can use the funding to replace lead service lines, address PFAS contamination, maintain adequate stormwater infrastructure to manage flood impacts from climate change, and upgrade water treatment plants.

Students should participate through their high schools and submit their artwork by March 22nd. The competition is open to all high school students in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District.

New Brunswick, NJ - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced Gauri Kshettry and Twisha Patel, who attend Edison High School, won the 2023 Congressional App Challenge for high school and middle school students in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District. Their app – TheraPose – leverages AI-powered pose estimation technology — computer vision techniques which involve detecting and tracking the positions and orientations of human body parts in videos – to provide personalized guidance and feedback to patients undergoing physical therapy.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ – Following the 51st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) called for federal protection of the right to full reproductive health care services, including abortion. Last week, House Republicans passed two extreme bills that would further subvert women’s reproductive rights by misleading, tricking, and shaming them at crisis pregnancy centers and by failing to address health care needs of pregnant students.

Perth Amboy, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced the introduction of the Improving Newborns’ Food and Nutrition Testing Safety (INFANTS) Act to protect the health and safety of infants and toddlers. The bill would require finished baby food products to be tested for toxic heavy metals and other contaminants, helping to establish precautionary measures to prevent infant formula shortages in the future.
