WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) released the following statement today upon the House GOP’s 31st attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA):
“Today, the Republican House leadership engaged in a confounding waste of time, again. For the 31st time since they took the Majority in the House, Republicans spent Congressional time and resources to vote to repeal the ACA and in the process, they squandered away another day to do the work Americans so desperately need and pass legislation to create jobs.
ASBURY PARK, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County’s Asbury Park Unit to highlight the importance of water safety. Boys & Girls Clubs offer beginner, intermediate and advanced swim lessons for children ages 6-12 and educate youth and parents on the importance of being safe around water.

“Today is a great day for the American people. The Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reaffirms our nation’s commitment to make sure that all Americans have access to quality affordable health care and health insurance.

| BELMAR, NJ – Today, Monday, June 25, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) will visit the Shark River Inlet to highlight maintenance dredging that began there on June 20. The dredging is conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers to improve the safety and accessibility of the inlet. Funding for this project was included in the Fiscal Year 2012 budget at Congressman Pallone’s request. |
