This demonstration is part of a comprehensive effort to integrate behavioral health with physical health care, increase consistent use of evidence-based practices, and improve access to high quality care for people with mental and substance use disorders.

Long Branch, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Sandy Hook will not be raising its camping and parking fees in 2017. In August, Congressman Pallone sent a letter to National Park Service Director Jonathan B. Jarvis urging the NPS to withdraw its proposal to increase Sandy Hook’s fees.
LONG BRANCH, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) voiced strong opposition to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) final rule on 2017 and 2018 summer flounder quotas released today. Under the rule, the summer flounder Acceptable Biological Catch (ABC) would be reduced 29% in 2017 and 16% in 2018. The recreational and commercial limits would both be reduced by approximately 30% in 2017 and 16% in 2018.
President heeds call, issues partial Atlantic drilling ban
NEWARK, N.J. – U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker, and Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (N.J.-06) today applauded President Obama for heeding their call to take steps to further protect the Jersey Shore from offshore oil and gas drilling in the Atlantic Ocean. President Obama exercised his authority to permanently ban offshore drilling in deep water canyons from Virginia to New England, including off the New Jersey coast, and in much of the Arctic Ocean.

The rule establishes clear requirements for responsible surface coal mining that will protect 6,000 miles of streams and 52,000 acres of forest over the next two decades.
