Esder came to the United States with her family when she was just 6 years old. She is currently a sophomore at Rutgers University, Newark.

Chandler Health Center in New Brunswick, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) met with New Jersey healthcare leaders to discuss the future of several crucial health programs which expired in 2017. Many have faced cuts and challenges during the Trump administration, and they must be extended or reauthorized.
New Brunswick, NJ –Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) blasted the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) for detaining two Indonesian men this morning and attempting to detain a third. The Indonesian nationals are ethnic Chinese Christians, who fled from religious persecution in the 1990s.
Several days ago one of the men ICE attempted to detain, Harry Pangemanan, received the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award from the Highland Park Human Relations Commission. The award was mentioned in local news outlets.

Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced a grant of $250,627 from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Eric B. Chandler Health Center at Rutgers University.

Washington, D.C. – Last night, President Trump signed legislation into law that was introduced earlier this year by Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Congresswoman Robin Kelly (D-IL) that mandates government websites be mobile friendly. The House passed the bill unanimously on November 15, 2017, and the Senate approved the bill on December 21, 2017.
