Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) led a bipartisan letter with Congressman Gus M. Bilirakis (FL-12) and over 50 leaders from the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues and the Congressional Hellenic Caucus. In a letter to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, the lawmakers strongly urge them to reject a request from the Republic of Turkey to purchase next-generation F-16 fighter jets and upgrade kits from the United States.

Long Branch, NJ – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today sent a letter to Jersey Central Power & Light Company (JCP&L) demanding that the company explain the frequent electric power outages New Jersey residents have experienced over the last two weeks. In the letter, Pallone expressed concern that the outages were not related to weather events, but rather to equipment substation failures caused by the company's insufficient investment in its infrastructure.

New Jersey will receive nearly $1 billion in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Disaster Relief Laws. New Jersey's 6th Congressional District will receive $197.4 million in new funding.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced today that schools and libraries in New Jersey will receive over $4 million from the eighth round of funding from the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Emergency Connectivity Fund Program (ECF). Schools and libraries in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District have received nearly $11.7 million, and New Jersey has received over $106 million from the Fund in total.

New Jersey's 6th Congressional District will receive $197.4 million in new funding. The infrastructure investments will protect coastal communities from flooding and the impacts of the growing climate crisis while strengthening the economy and creating good-paying jobs.

Schools and libraries in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District have received over $11.3 million, and New Jersey has received over $102 million from the Fund in total.

The state will receive $285.6 million for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) that helps families struggling with the costs of home heating.
