Health Subcommittee Acts On Plan To Aid WTC Responders & Survivors
Washington, D.C. - The House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee on Tuesday approved The James Zadroga 9-11 Health and Compensation Act, giving approval to legislation that would provide medical care to emergency responders and others exposed to toxic materials around the World Trade Center after the terrorist attack.

Rallies With Thousands Outside US Capitol Who Support His Legislation to Change Regulations'
Washington, D.C. - Thousands of fishermen from throughout the country descended on the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday to rally in support of Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr.'s legislation. We need to change the fishing regulations that are arbitrary, unfair and hurt local coastal economies, the congressman said after addressing the raucous crowd.

“New Jerseyans have received over 3,500 loans, grants and contracts totaling over $4.5 billion as a result of the Recovery Act. Working families across the country have also received over $99 billion in tax breaks. The Recovery Act is putting New Jerseyans to work who have lost their jobs and continued to employ those, who without it, would have lost their jobs.

“Besides the law mandating that everyone needs to be counted every 10 years, an accurate Census count translates to billions of dollars for the people of New Jersey,” said Pallone. “At a time when New Jersey’s budget is being cut significantly, money provided based on Census data will fund crucial social programs as well as things like infrastructure and emergency services.”

Forum With Pallone Will Address Move To Repeal the Exemption Enjoyed by Insurance Companies
New Brunswick - Doctors, consumer advocates and other health care professionals will join with Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. on Wednesday in a hospital forum to discuss the importance of repealing the anti-trust exemption enjoyed by insurance companies.
The forum will be held in Robert Wood Johnson's 2nd floor cafeteria in New Brunswick tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
