Pallone Instrumental in Securing More Than $37 Million for Park’s Repairs

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone announced that all beaches will be open for Memorial Day weekend at Sandy Hook, part of the Gateway National Recreation Area under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health participated in a Hearing on “Examining Drug Compounding.” Since last year’s meningitis outbreak originating in a Massachusetts compounder that killed dozens and sickened hundreds, Pallone has called for hearings to be held on this issue affecting public safety.

Challenges Administration on Its Data Collection Program

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06), a senior member of the House Committee on Natural Resources appeared at a Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife, Oceans and Insular Affairs oversight hearing on data collection issues in determining catch limits for fish stocks. Pallone questioned both Dr. Richard Merrick, Chief Science Advisor of the National Marine Fisheries Service as well as Robert Beal, Executive Director of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission.

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced $3,326,048 in new funding to help community health centers provide in-person enrollment assistance to uninsured individuals in New Jersey. This funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will help uninsured New Jerseyans enroll in new health insurance coverage options made available by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
