"I am deeply outraged and offended by Congressman Smith's bigoted views on LGBTQ adoption. Congressman Smith should know that LGBTQ parents are just simply that – parents. They are parents who provide every bit of love and care as their heterosexual neighbors. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Congressman Smith has dismissed the rights of LGBTQ Americans. He should apologize.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that Rutgers University has been awarded five National Science Foundation (NSF) grants and two Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grants totaling more than $3,700,000.

Long Branch, NJ - Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) announced that the State of New Jersey has been awarded $66,522,137 in security grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. These grants include $8,388,505 in awards for the NJ Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist attack.
Washington, DC- Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06), the Ranking Member on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, sent a letter to several 3-D printing companies asking that they detail the steps being taking to limit the production of undetectable and untraceable firearms. Pallone requested that these companies consider developing technology that could prevent 3-D guns from being printed and take steps that would discourage printing of firearms altogether.

The administration is doing this because many New Jersey communities have chosen to resist some of the most extreme immigration policies of the Justice Department.
