Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Congressman Bill Pascrell (NJ-09) announced the reintroduction of legislation to help the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) clean up sites listed on the Superfund's National Priorities List. The Superfund Polluter Pays Act would reinstate the Superfund tax to make sure polluters pay for the cleanup of Superfund sites – not taxpayers. Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey will introduce the companion bill in the Senate.

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) applauded the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission's (ASMFC) Atlantic Striped Bass Board's adoption of a policy that will achieve agreed upon conservation goals while treating New Jersey's fishing industry fairly. The decision establishes fair catch limits and allows states to submit their own conservation equivalent plans.

Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) released the following statement today encouraging New Jersey residents to sign up for health insurance coverage on Healthcare.gov. The Affordable Care Act's Open Enrollment season kicks off today, November 1st, and residents can sign up for health insurance for the upcoming year through December 15, 2019.

"Starting today, New Jerseyans can sign up for insurance at Healthcare.gov and those already covered through the marketplace can update their information and compare options between plans.

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) called on the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASFMC) to pursue a conservation policy that achieves agreed upon Striped Bass stock management goals while treating states like New Jersey in a fair and consistent manner. In a letter, Pallone urged fair treatment of all states as the ASFMC considers implementing new removal limits to protect Striped Bass fishing stock on Thursday.

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) applauded the House passage of a resolution that officially recognizes the Armenian Genocide. Beginning in 1915, an estimated 1.5 million Armenians were systemically murdered over the course of several years in what is now present-day Turkey. Turkish leaders have long denied historical evidence that clearly documented the systemic rape, torture, and murder of Armenians in the final years of the Ottoman Empire.

A $37 million beach replenishment project will begin in December at three New Jersey spots that badly need it: Long Branch, Sea Bright, and Monmouth Beach.

Rep. Frank Pallone, D-6th Dist., announced the project along with members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, state officials and his brother, Long Branch Mayor John Pallone, from Long Branch's boardwalk Friday.
