WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congressmen Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) and Jared Polis (CO-02) led 110 Members of Congress in sending a letter to President Barack Obama today calling for an executive order prohibiting contractors without sexual orientation and gender identity anti-discrimination policies from receiving federal funds. Support for the executive order has grown in Congress with 38 more Members signing on than in a similar effort last year.
Washington, DC – Yesterday, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) sent the following letter to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie regarding his proposed plan to use more than $1.8 billion in federal dollars from the Superstorm Sandy relief package passed by Congress in January. The funding represents the first wave of Community Development Block Grant funding, which may be used to help repair homes and small businesses damaged by Sandy.

The Congressional Art Competition, “An Artistic Discovery” is open to all high school students in the 6th District. Students should participate through their schools, and interested schools must indicate to Congressman Pallone’s office their intent to participate by March 15, 2013.
