May 27, 2015
LONG BRANCH, NJ – In commemoration of Older Americans Month and National Senior Health & Fitness Day, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today visited the Asbury Park Senior Center. He discussed his ongoing efforts in Congress to protect and enhance programs important to seniors.
“In the face of congressional Republican plans to cut funding and shift costs to seniors, it is especially important to take every opportunity to protect and enhance programs like Medicare and Social Security,” said Congressman Pallone. “Most importantly today, I was able hear from seniors about concerns that I can take back to Washington on behalf of all New Jersey seniors.”
