LONG BRANCH, NJ – Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) presented John Grabowski of Sayreville, New Jersey with medals for his service in World War II. The medals include the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal, the Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII, and the Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar.
“It is a privilege to be able to recognize John Grabowski’s sacrifices and bravery while serving our country during World War II,” said Congressman Pallone. “I am glad that my office was able to secure the medals for this long-overdue recognition of his outstanding service. We need to make sure that all Veterans are given the honors they rightly deserve for defending our country.”
