Pallone to Convene Informational Forum on President Obama’s Executive Actions on Immigration

January 30, 2015

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – On Monday, February 9, 2015, at 5:30 PM (doors open at 5:00 PM), Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) will convene a public informational forum to discuss President Obama’s executive actions on immigration. Last November, the President signed executive orders to help fix our broken immigration system and prioritize the enforcement of our immigration laws. Two important reforms that are currently being implemented through the executive orders are: 1) deferral of deportations of certain childhood arrivals; and 2) deferral of deportation of parents of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

Representatives from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will join Congressman Pallone in providing information and answering questions about how these executive orders are being implemented and how individuals and families can benefit from them.
