Pallone, Army Corps and D.E.P. to Inspect Shore Protection in Bayshore
U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), Anthony Ciorra of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' New York District, and John Garofalo of the Coastal Engineering Division of New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will tour three Bayshore beaches tomorrow, Wednesday, December 21 to assess beach erosion and the status of flood control projects.
The two hour tour will take the New Jersey congressman and the others to Port Monmouth, Keansburg and Union Beach. After the tour, they will hold a press conference in Union Beach to discuss what they saw.

The actual tour will begin at 11 a.m. in Port Monmouth at the Spy House, located at 119 Port Monmouth Road. The tour will then move from Port Monmouth to Keansburg, and then end in Union Beach. Reporters interested in joining the entire two-hour tour should meet at 11 a.m. in Port Monmouth.
