Pallone Hosts Teletown Hall with Constituents
Washington, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) hosted a telephone town hall today with over 4,000 constituents in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District. Pallone spoke about his efforts in Congress to lower health care and prescription drug costs and protect consumers from high prices.
"Hearing directly from my constituents is one of the most important parts of my job. In Congress, I'm fighting to build on our progress to lower health care and prescription drug costs. Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, seniors are already paying no more than $35 per month for insulin and drug companies are penalized for raising prices faster than the rate of inflation,” Pallone said. “I also spoke about what I’m doing to lower costs for consumers, including the fight against junk fees and my bipartisan bill to bring much-needed transparency to prices for medical procedures across different hospitals. I want to thank everyone who joined to ask questions and share their concerns."
