Pallone Announces $184,000 Research Grant for Rutgers University
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) today announced a research grant for Rutgers University totaling $184,659 from the Department of Health and Human Services. The grant will fund research into cancer biology.
“As technologies and science improve and progress, our commitment to cancer prevention and other disease and health research must be strengthened as well,” said Congressman Pallone. “I am proud that Rutgers University, one of the leading research institutions in the world, is receiving this grant. I know it will put it to good use.”
Congressman Pallone is the Ranking Member on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees healthcare.
