Advocates aim to extend 9/11 health care funding

U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-6) said in an Oct. 3 interview he is hoping to extend the bill that provides specialized health care and financial compensation for 9/11 first responders. "It is important that we don't forget these first responders and other people who put their life on the line, and we have to make sure that they are treated," he said.
